Keys Group Supports Local Families with Festive Foodbank Donations

Keys Group is proud to have supported the B30 and South Birmingham Foodbank this festive season, collecting hundreds of pounds worth of donations to help those in need.

Over the past month, team members from our Halesowen Support Centre and colleagues across our specialist schools, children’s residential homes, and adult support services throughout England and Wales have generously contributed essential items, including tinned and dried foods, sanitary products, and baby supplies.

Katie Drakeford, Commercial Director at Keys Group, said:
“As an organisation, we support more than 2,000 people across the country, and we’re committed to making a positive impact in all of our local communities.

“We’re incredibly proud to be part of the Halesowen community and to have our business support hub based here. The team wanted to do something meaningful to support local families, and we were delighted to contribute to the B30 and South Birmingham Foodbank. We hope our donations will help make a difference over the festive period and beyond.”

Anne Cole, from the Management Team at B30 and South Birmingham Foodbank, shared:
“This very generous donation from Keys Group will be helping to feed local families in crisis over the Christmas period. Sadly, B30 Foodbank provided emergency food for 14,475 local people in 2023, one-third of them being children. 2024 will be very similar.

“One mother at the foodbank for the first time this week said, ‘I’m so ashamed to be here. I can miss meals myself, but the kids can’t… and ‘S’ needs shoes…’

“So thank you, Keys Group, and a Happy Christmas from B30 & South Birmingham Foodbank.”

We are incredibly proud of the generosity and compassion shown by our team members. Supporting our local communities is at the heart of everything we do, and we look forward to continuing initiatives like this in the future.
