Keys Group’s Summer Fundraiser Brings in £3000 for UNICEF’s Global Child Aid
Colleagues from across Keys Group have raised £3000 for charity following a fundraising event held at its Midlands support centre.
Keys Group brings together three of the UK’s leading providers of specialist education, care and activities: Accomplish, Keys and Peak and team members from all three took part in a summer fete fundraiser for UNICEF, held recently at its Halesowen office.
With fun stalls including ‘Guess the Name of the Stuffed Toy’, a tin can alley and a lucky dip along with freshly baked cakes, samosa stand, sweet station and others, there were plenty of chances for people to dig deep and contribute to the worthy cause.
Ahead of the event, an online raffle and virtual balloon race meant colleagues working across the Group’s schools, homes and centres across England and Wales could also take part and contribute to the overall total.
Commercial Director at Keys Group, Katie Drakeford, said: “This was a wonderful event and a great chance for everyone to come together to raise money for an incredibly important charity.
“From all of the different elements of the event, we were able to raise close to £1500 so far, and Keys will match that amount, taking the total raised to around £3000. The money we raised will go to UNICEF and their remarkable work to support children and families affected by conflicts in regions such as Gaza, Sudan, Haiti, and Ukraine.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success. Your efforts are helping to support an incredible cause and will help make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
